Panasonic Lumix S5II Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera
The Lumix S5II is the camera that put phase detection into the Lumix line. A 24.2 effective megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor sits behind a phase-detection and contrast hybrid AF system, which is the change that made the S5 body competitive for tracking work rather than only for static and gimbal setups. Autofocus modes run from full-area tracking down to pinpoint.
Five-axis body stabilisation is rated at five stops on the CIPA standard measured with the 20-60mm kit lens at 60mm. Recording is MOV in H.264 or H.265, still aspect ratios cover 4:3 through 65:24 and 2:1, and the body measures roughly 134.3 x 102.3 x 90.1mm excluding protrusions. Wi-Fi is dual-band with WPA3 and Bluetooth is 5.0 LE. Body, 20-60mm, twin-lens and 24-60mm Adventure Kit configurations are listed.
