Panasonic AV-UHS5M5G 4K DVE Module

The AV-UHS5M5G is the 4K DVE unit for the AV-UHS500 switcher. The UHS500 runs DVE natively in HD; this module carries that capability up into 4K mode, giving the operator one background transition and one key transition with digital video effects while the switcher is working at UHD resolution.

It installs into one of the UHS500's expansion bays and takes its power from the chassis, the same as the SDI, HDMI and NDI modules in the AV-UHS5M series. That means a facility can specify the switcher once and add the 4K effects capability when a production actually calls for it, rather than paying for it up front or replacing the frame later.
