Panasonic AK-SFC391 ST 2110 Software Key

The AK-SFC391 is a software activation key for the AK-HC3900GSJ studio camera that unlocks SMPTE ST 2110 IP transmission, turning what ships as a standard HD-SDI camera into one that connects directly to a network switch or optical fiber run without a traditional camera control unit in between. Uncompressed HD video travels out over the IP connection, while return video and intercom audio travel back the same path.

It is a pure software unlock, not a hardware add-on, so it applies to an HC3900GSJ or HC3900GJ already on the floor rather than requiring a camera exchange. It is the HC3900\'s equivalent of the AW-SFU60 key that adds ST 2110 to Panasonic\'s AW-UE160 PTZ camera, letting a facility hold off on IP infrastructure spend until a specific camera position needs it.
