The McKinnon Camera Messenger 13L is built around a rigid wireframe mouth, which is the detail that matters: the opening holds itself open so you can see the whole compartment and pull a body out one-handed instead of wrestling a collapsing bag. A quick-latch system closes it just as fast and holds.

The padded shoulder strap pivots, so the same bag rides as a shoulder bag, cross-body or sling, and the back has a formed EVA foam panel plus a roller luggage pass-through. Inside are three SD card pockets, two battery pockets, two 4 inch stretch-mesh utility pockets, a stretch-mesh zip pocket and two dividers; a dedicated compartment takes a 14 inch MacBook Pro. Molle straps on the front and bottom carry a tripod or jacket, with straps sold separately.
