Nomatic McKinnon Camera Sling 5L

The McKinnon Camera Sling 5L is the minimum viable camera bag: one body and one lens, 5 litres, worn as a hip pack or over the shoulder. The mouth is built on a rigid wireframe so it stays open when you reach in, and the quick-latch system means the whole draw is one-handed, which is the difference between getting the shot and watching it.

Inside are three SD card pockets, two battery pockets, two 3 inch stretch-mesh utility pockets and a velcro divider. Outside, a grab handle, two Hypalon lash tabs and a shoulder or hip strap on a side-release buckle; molle hooks take a tripod with straps sold separately. It weighs 1.3 lbs and is 75% nylon and 25% polyethylene.
