NewTek TriCaster 40 V2 Live Production Switcher (Demo)
The TriCaster 40 Version 2 is NewTek's entry-level all-in-one live production system, mixing up to four live sources connected over locking BNC in HD or SD component, Y/C, or composite. Its switcher runs fourteen channels: six external, four internal media players, and four virtual inputs, so a single operator can cut between cameras, clips, graphics, and virtual sets. BNC-to-RCA converters are included for consumer gear.
The system streams live to the web in resolutions up to 720p while recording an archive at the same time, writing to QuickTime, AVI, MPEG-2, or H.264. Audio runs through stereo RCA inputs and outputs plus a balanced 1/4 inch microphone input and a 1/4 inch headphone output, and it can send HD and SD program feeds simultaneously to monitors, projectors, or recording devices.
