NETGEAR M4500-32C 32-Port 100G QSFP28 Managed AV Switch (CSM4532)

The M4500-32C is the 100G aggregation layer of NETGEAR's AV-over-IP line: 32 QSFP28 ports, each configurable to 100G, 50G or 40G, in a full-width 1U chassis with two APS750W supplies and six AFT402 fan trays pre-installed for 1+1 and 4+2 redundancy. It is the spine in a spine-and-leaf design, with MLAG between spines so a 10G access layer of M4300 or M4350 leaves keeps forwarding if a core switch drops. NETGEAR rates a redundant pair for up to 320 transmit and 320 receive 10G endpoints, all at line rate.

IGMP Plus is pre-configured on VLAN 1 out of the box, so multicast AV encoders and decoders work without a switch-by-switch configuration pass. Management is CLI only, over the local console, Telnet or SSH, with SNMP, sFlow, RSPAN and LLDP for the network team, and full IPv4/IPv6 routing including OSPF, BGP4, PIM-SM, VRF-Lite and VXLAN. NETGEAR backs it with a limited lifetime hardware warranty.
