NETGEAR M4350-16C Managed AV Switch (CSM4316)
The M4350-16C is the 16-port member of NETGEAR's M4350 AV Line, laid out as 16 x 100G QSFP28 ports. It carries no PoE, so endpoints bring their own power and the switch is doing pure transport. Access ports run at 100 Gigabit.
What separates an AV Line switch from a generic managed switch is the software. You assign a configuration profile to each port instead of hand-typing a CLI, and the VLAN, QoS and multicast settings that profile needs are applied for you. NETGEAR IGMP Plus provides multicast right out of the box for most AV over IP work, which is what keeps a video-over-IP system alive on Layer 2 without standing up PIM. The Layer 3 feature set covers static, policy-based and dynamic routing. Auto-trunk and auto-LAG connect it to other M4350 and M4250 switches without a stacking plan. NETGEAR Engage Controller manages it alongside the rest of the fleet. NETGEAR rates its acoustics at Quiet Mode 30.4dB@25 deg C. Covered by NETGEAR's limited lifetime hardware warranty.
