MOTU micro lite 5x5 USB MIDI Interface

The micro lite is the compact end of MOTU's MIDI interface line, built on the same technology as the MIDI Timepiece. It provides five MIDI inputs and five MIDI outputs for 80 MIDI channels, with large front-panel LEDs that show activity on every port, which is how you tell a dead cable from a dead patch in seconds.

It takes full advantage of USB for high-speed throughput, sub-millisecond timing accuracy, hot-swapping and plug-and-play expansion; adding another MOTU USB MIDI interface on a spare port simply adds ports. Power comes from the USB connection, so there is no wall wart. The metal chassis measures 9.5 x 7 x 1.75 inches, and the included removable rack attachments plus a center-joint fastener let two micro lites sit side by side in 1U of a 19-inch rack.
