Mackie DLM Series Powered Loudspeaker
DLM is the compact end of Mackie's powered range, and the reason the cabinets are as small as they are is the TruSource driver: a vertically aligned, common-magnet coaxial design that puts the low and high sections on one acoustic axis instead of stacking them in a taller box. On the DLM12 that is a 12-inch woofer with a 1.75-inch compression driver.
Every model runs 2000 W of system power through ultra-efficient Class-D amplification. TruSource DSP handles the crossover and voicing for consistent coverage, and Smart Protect DSP watches the amplifier and driver dynamically rather than relying on a fixed limiter. The tops pole-mount on a tripod or sit on top of a DLM12S subwoofer using the SPM300 speaker pole, so a two-box-per-side rig packs down small enough for one trip.
