Mackie DRM18S 18-Inch Subwoofer
The DRM18S is the low-end anchor of a DRM system. The powered version runs 2000 W of Class-D into a high-excursion 18-inch woofer in a cabinet built with extra internal volume for output, reaching 135 dB max SPL. Precision acoustic correction keeps the response consistent as level rises rather than letting it smear at the top of the range.
The DRM Control Dashboard gives a high-resolution full-color display driven by one knob, showing the current crossover setting, metering, and amplifier temperature in a single overview window. The crossover point is user adjustable so the sub can be matched to any top box, with a dedicated DRM mode that tailors it to full-range DRM cabinets. An M20 threaded pole attachment carries a DRM top or any other pole-mountable speaker. The DRM18S-P is the passive version of the same cabinet for systems where the amplifier lives in a rack.
