Lowell SS24 Channel Rails, 24-Inch, Pair
SS24 channel rails span a ceiling grid opening and carry a ceiling speaker's weight out to the support structure, which is what stops tiles sagging around the speaker and is usually what local building code is after. They also tidy up the look of the installation in a 2x2 or 2x4 suspended ceiling.
The pair is formed 20-gauge galvanized steel, 23.75 inches long, punched with holes for screw-mounting a recessed backbox and further holes for seismic anchoring where code requires it. Mounting hardware is included. Made in the U.S.A. and sold as a pair.
