Lowell LBS8 Tile Bridge for 8-Inch Speaker
The LBS8 takes an 8-inch speaker assembly's weight off the ceiling tile and puts it on the support structure of a 2x2 or 2x4 suspended ceiling. It is formed 24-gauge galvanized steel with multiple formed ribs for stiffness, 23.75 by 15.5 inches with an 8.5-inch square opening in the centre.
Twist 'n Lock mounting means it goes in without hardware, and there are multiple attachment points plus wire holes at the corners for seismic anchoring where code calls for it. A screw-mount grille works with or without a backbox; a torsion grille needs one. Made in the U.S.A.; order in multiples of 10.
