The FC-22ETH bridges serial control gear onto an IP network. It carries one selectable RS-232/RS-485 port and one RS-232 port on 3-pin terminal blocks, plus an Ethernet RJ-45, so a control system can reach projectors, screens and legacy switchers that only speak serial. A mini USB connector handles local service work.

RS-232 traffic passes transparently up to 115200bps and the unit handles up to 150kbps summed across all ports. Front-panel controls cover serial mode select, the RS-485 terminator, DHCP and factory reset, with status LEDs for power, Ethernet and each serial path. It is configured from built-in web pages and is supported by Kramer Control, K-Touch and K-Config.
