Kiloview U40 4K HDMI to NDI Encoder
The U40 takes an HDMI 2.0 feed at up to 4K60 and puts it on the network as full-bandwidth NDI, so any HDMI camera joins an IP production with one cable and no capture card. It is a 90mm round aluminium puck, 30mm tall and 310g, with a high-air-volume fan inside for continuous operation, and it mounts on a camera upright or laid flat with an optional cold shoe.
Beyond straight HDMI encoding the U40 also converts incoming IP streams - RTSP, RTMP, SRT, TS over UDP and HLS - into NDI|HX, which is how an older streaming camera gets pulled into an NDI switcher. Two gigabit Ethernet ports carry PoE with DC out, a 3.5mm input embeds analog audio into the NDI stream and supports voice intercom through Kiloview's intercom software, and the USB port drives PTZ control over Sony VISCA, VISCA (Laia), VISCA (Kato), PELCO-D and PELCO-P. Tally is built in.
