JVC 4KCAM Camcorder GY-LS300CHU
The GY-LS300CHU is a 4KCAM handheld camcorder built on a single Super 35mm CMOS sensor, the same imager size used across cinema cameras, giving shallow depth of field and a filmic rendering. Its Micro Four Thirds mount has a short flange distance, so with the right adapter it accepts PL, EF, Nikon, and legacy still glass alongside native MFT lenses. JVC's Variable Scan Mapping matches the imaging area to the lens format, from Super 35 down to Micro Four Thirds and 2/3-inch, to avoid vignetting and use each lens at its intended field of view.
The camera records 4K (3840 x 2160), along with HD and SD, to dual SDHC/SDXC card slots, and can capture two codecs at once. A built-in ND filter offers Clear, 1/4, 1/16, and 1/64 positions for exposure control in bright light. 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs feed monitors and switchers, with 4K available over HDMI. This listing is the CHU body only, without a lens.
