JTS R-4 Four-Channel UHF Diversity Wireless Receiver
The R-4 puts four diversity receive channels in a chassis 212 mm wide, which is how a four-piece band or a panel of four speakers fits into a single rack shelf instead of four separate boxes. It tunes across UHF 470 to 960 MHz under PLL synthesised control, and the front panel reports group, channel and frequency alongside antenna A/B, mute, AF and RF meters and transmitter battery status, so a problem channel is identified from the rack rather than from the stage.
Outputs are wired for both ways of working: four independent XLR outputs feed four console channels, and a mixed output on both 6.3 mm and XLR feeds a single input when the four sources only need one fader. Squelch combines a pilot tone with noise mute to keep a dead channel silent, and JTS's REMOSET feature configures the matching transmitters over the air rather than one at a time. The receiver runs on 100 to 240V.
