Earthworks IMLR12 12-Inch Rigid Gooseneck Installation Microphone
The IMLR12 is the 12 in member of Earthworks' IMR installation range: a rigid gooseneck microphone that mounts through a conference table, wall or ceiling and stays where it is put. Optimised for speech, it holds a flat response out to 30 kHz, and its near-perfect polar behaviour means a talker speaking across the microphone rather than into it still reproduces with the same clarity. That wider usable coverage is what lets a room be covered with fewer microphones than a conventional gooseneck design needs.
The LR in the name is the LumiComm touch ring: a dual-colour red and green LED ring around the flange with its own touch sensor, wired to an external control or logic system for mute indication or call-to-talk. The ring runs from a separate 8 to 28 VDC supply at 85 to 170 mA over Phoenix or RJ45, independent of the microphone's 24 to 48 V phantom feed. A lock nut is included for through-surface mounting. Choose black or stainless steel above.
