Electro-Voice EKX-12 12-Inch Two-Way Passive Loudspeaker

The EKX-12 is the passive 12-inch box in the EKX line: an EVS-12M woofer and a DH-1M titanium compression driver behind a 90 by 60 degree horn, crossed over at 1.6 kHz. That pattern is aimed at mid-size rooms and stages where you want the front rows and the back wall covered without spraying the side walls.

The cabinet is 15 mm plywood finished in EVCoat, with an aluminium pole socket, a steel grille and eight M10 points for flying. Two NL4 connectors let you loop a second cabinet without going back to the amp rack. Run it from any amplifier that is happy into 8 ohms.
