Elgato Wave DX A cardioid dynamic XLR microphone

Wave DX is Elgato's dynamic XLR microphone, built to capture vocal detail while rejecting room noise for a creator who has moved from a USB mic to a proper audio interface or mixer. Its cardioid pattern focuses on the source directly in front of the capsule, with an internal pop filter cutting plosives before they reach the diaphragm.

Because it is dynamic and XLR-only, it needs an interface or mixer to reach usable levels; it has no onboard mute button or USB output. It ships with a 5/8-inch mount and 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch adapters, so it drops onto most boom arms and stands without an extra adapter purchase.
