The Galaxy Trek GT-SX pairs a cardioid condenser headset transmitter with a receiver that ends in a 3.5 mm stereo plug, so the far end can be a powered speaker, a mixer input, a laptop or a phone. Pairing is automatic, there are no channels to coordinate, and the only controls are power and volume.

It runs on 2.4 GHz with frequency hopping across 24 MHz, digitizes at 16-bit / 44.1 kHz, and covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with better than 63 dB signal to noise. Both halves charge over mini USB from internal lithium-ion cells, and working range is about 50 feet, which suits a classroom, a studio floor or a fitness room.
