Eartec XTreme Headset for Other Brands
The XTreme is the toughest headset Eartec builds, made for crews who already have a hard hat or bump cap on. Instead of a conventional over-the-top headband it uses a heavy stainless spring steel back band with a separate over-the-head strap, so it sits under safety headgear without fighting it. The septagonal ear cups cover the ear completely and the cushions are thicker toward the bottom and rear, which is what lets an operator wear it through a full shift on a crane, a tree crew, or a defense contract job.
Order it with the connector your existing intercom or radio already uses. Eartec builds the XTreme with 4-pin and 5-pin XLR in male and female, two-pin molded plugs with inline PTT for Kenwood and Motorola radios, and a 3.5 mm TRRS connector for phone and tablet apps. The 3-foot cable and electret condenser microphone are the same across every version, so the only thing changing is what plugs into your system.
