Eartec ProLine Single-Ear Headset for Other Brands
The ProLine is the headset Eartec built to delete the belt pack. The amplifier and volume control live inside the ear cup, so a single cable runs from the operator to the intercom with no external amp and no extra XLR barrels in the middle of the floor. The microphone auto-mutes when the boom is swung straight up, which crews figure out in about ten seconds and then use constantly.
Eartec builds the ProLine with either an electret or a dynamic microphone element depending on the connector, which is what lets it work with essentially any intercom. Available with 4-pin and 5-pin XLR in male and female, Kenwood and Motorola two-pin molded plugs with inline PTT, and a 3.5 mm TRRS plug. Construction is light-industrial: rugged shell, deluxe padding, made to be dropped.
