Dynacord L3600FD 2 x 1800 W DSP Power Amplifier

The Dynacord L3600FD is a two-channel live sound amplifier with speaker processing built in, rated 2 x 1800 W DSP Power Amplifier. Driving both channels it produces 3000 W at 2 ohms, 2500 W at 2.6 ohms, 1700 W at 4 ohms, 900 W at 8 ohms, and bridged it delivers 6000 W at 4 ohms, 3400 W at 8 ohms. The output stage is Class H, the power supply is engineered for constant stability at 2 ohms, and protection circuitry watches both the amplifier and the connected loudspeakers. It is specified where one amplifier has to drive a subwoofer array or a long run of cabinets that a smaller amplifier would clip into limiting.

The onboard DSP is the reason to choose an FD model over a plain amplifier: FIR Drive filters reproduce the original factory loudspeaker tunings, alongside multi-band parametric EQ, crossovers, limiters, and output delay on each channel. Setup, tuning, and monitoring happen in Dynacord SONICUE Sound System Software, which adds ten-band PEQs and a dedicated array processing section. Frequency response is 10 Hz to 21 kHz within 1 dB, inputs are active balanced at 20k ohms accepting up to +21 dBu, and the chassis measures 483 x 88 x 462.4 mm and weighs 18.2 kg (40.1 lb).
