DVDO AA40W-1 40W 70V/100V Class-D Audio Amplifier with Ducking

The AA40W-1 is the constant-voltage member of the range: 40 W mono, switchable between 70 V and 100 V, which is what a run of ceiling or pendant speakers across a restaurant, a classroom or a retail floor needs. Three selectable inputs cover two stereo analog sources, a 3.5 mm line jack and an RCA L/R pair, plus one digital input, and a separate balanced microphone input takes the announcement.

Ducking is built in, so the microphone automatically pulls the background program down when someone speaks and lets it back up afterwards. The mic input has three selectable levels covering condenser, dynamic and line sources, and accepts balanced or unbalanced wiring to keep noise off a long run. Volume, bass and treble adjust from the front panel, an IR remote or RS-232 with DVDO's control software, and an LED shows power and working status.
