The D2-BASE-EXT is a heavy-duty housing built to protect a Datavideo PTC-series PTZ camera in an exposed, fixed outdoor installation, from weather, dust, salt air, and general physical abuse. The IP68-rated polycarbonate thermal plastic enclosure has sealed waterproof connection ports and a reinforced, impact-resistant lower lens, and it ships with a Vari-Fit internal bracket that mounts the camera securely inside the housing.
