dbx DJDI 2-Channel Passive Direct Box

The DJDI is a 2-channel passive direct box built for DJ mixers, laptops, and other unbalanced stereo sources that need to get to a balanced snake cleanly. Each channel takes a 1/4 inch unbalanced input at 50 kOhm and outputs on a balanced male XLR at 600 Ohm, pin 2 hot.

Being fully passive, it needs no power and no batteries, and noise stays low at -104 dBu unweighted across 22 Hz to 22 kHz with an insertion loss of about 21 dB typical, the expected tradeoff for the passive transformer path. It is built for front-of-house and booth use wherever a DJ rig needs a reliable, no-power DI.
