Countryman H7 Headset Microphone
The H7 is Countryman's newer, tougher headset microphone, built around a single hypercardioid pattern instead of the H6's swappable capsule options. That fixed, tightly-controlled pickup pattern is aimed squarely at loud monitor wedges, heavy room noise, and feedback-prone stages, while a wide dynamic range keeps quiet passages and full-voice belting both intelligible. Countryman built the H7 to be its most water-resistant and most resilient directional headset to date, from the capsule through the cable to the connector, for performers who sweat through a two-hour set or work outdoors.
Like the H6, the H7's cable is fully detachable and snaps into the headframe rather than being hard-wired to the capsule, so a worn cable is a quick swap rather than a mic replacement (see the H7 Headset Replacement Cable). It ships in Black, Cocoa, Light Beige, or Tan, factory-wired for the wireless bodypack you specify at order - AKG, Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Electro-Voice, Lectrosonics, Line 6, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom, or hardwired XLR3 - and comes with a carrying case, black and white cable clips, and both a small and a large windscreen.
