Countryman A3 Podium Microphone
The A3 Podium starts from dual precision-crafted capsules built into the gooseneck rather than a single element bolted to the end of it. That dual-capsule design enables Active Plus Vibration Cancellation, which dramatically reduces thumps, wind noise, and handling noise picked up through the podium or lectern itself - the problem a separate shock mount is normally there to solve. It is built for conference rooms, houses of worship, council chambers, and courtrooms, where a fixed installation needs to sound consistent meeting after meeting.
Order it with a fixed Cardioid, Hypercardioid, or Omnidirectional pattern, or as the Selectable version that lets you switch patterns in the field without swapping hardware. Gooseneck length runs 12, 18 (the most common), or 24 inches. The A3 Halo variant adds a status LED ring around the capsule housing (in green or red) and a reconfigurable XLR5 connector in place of the standard XLR3, so an operator can see at a glance whether the mic is live. A desk mount, stand clip, and windscreen are available separately.
