Countryman H6 Headset Microphone
The H6 is Countryman's lowest-profile headworn microphone, built around the same earset capsule technology as the E6 - a capsule small enough to disappear against the skin while still holding up to sweat, makeup, and repeated bending. It ships in two patterns: the Omnidirectional H6 rejects feedback and unwanted room noise better than a typical lavalier, while the Directional H6 adds a cardioid or hypercardioid capsule for stages with loud monitors or heavy ambient noise. Every H6 is ordered with a sensitivity/gain code - W5 for general speaking, W6 for speaking and vocals, or W7 for very powerful vocals - so the mic is voiced for the performer before it ships, not adjusted after the fact.
The cable is fully detachable and snaps into the headframe, so a damaged cable does not mean replacing the whole microphone (see the H6 Headset Replacement Cable). Pick a color to match skin tone or wardrobe - Black, Cocoa, Light Beige, or Tan - and a connector code for your wireless bodypack; Countryman publishes wiring for AKG, Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Electro-Voice, Lectrosonics, Line 6, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom, and dozens more, all pre-wired at the factory rather than requiring a third-party adapter. Every H6 ships with a carrying case, black and white cable clips, a windscreen, and protective capsule caps.
