Crown I-Tech 12000HD Touring Amplifier

The I-Tech 12000HD is Crown's touring amplifier, rated 4500 W per channel at 4 ohms and built around the BSS OMNIDRIVEHD processing engine with IIR and linear-phase FIR filters plus LevelMAX limiters. It is the box that goes under a line array and gets asked to run at level for a full show without stepping back.

The fan reports true tachometer feedback, so a fault is detected rather than discovered when the amp shuts down, and Sweep Load Monitoring gives system-level diagnostics on the loudspeakers hanging off it. Crown holds five patents across the design, three of them on the power supply alone.
