Crestron DMC 4KZ C DSP

The DMC-4KZ-C-DSP is a DigitalMedia 8G+ input card for any card-based Crestron DigitalMedia switcher. It carries every capability of the DMC-4KZ-C, accepting a DM 8G+ feed over a single CAT-type twisted pair from a transmitter, another DM switcher, or an HDBaseT certified source, and handling full 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR video. The card is HDBaseT compatible and part of the 4KZ line, with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 support.

Its added feature is downmixing. The card can distribute a multichannel 7.1 surround signal and a 2-channel stereo signal at the same time, so the original surround feed reaches rooms with surround systems while a stereo downmix goes to stereo-only rooms and devices. That makes it the input of choice when a source carries surround audio that has to serve mixed room types. The card installs in a DM switcher chassis.
