Crestron DM-MD16X16
The Crestron DM-MD16X16 is a modular 16x16 DigitalMedia matrix switcher that routes any of sixteen AV sources to any of sixteen displays across a building. It is populated with plug-in DMC input and output cards, so the input and output signal types are chosen per port to match the job: HDMI, DM 8G+ and HDBaseT over CAT, fiber, or H.264 streaming. That card-based design lets a room built for HDMI today accept a DM endpoint or streaming output later without replacing the chassis.
The switcher handles SD, HD, UHD, 2K, 4K, and computer signals with HDCP support, EDID management, CEC pass-through, USB signal routing, and an integrated Ethernet switch, plus simultaneous 7.1 and stereo audio de-embedding. Sixteen input card slots and eight dual-output card slots yield up to sixteen DM, HDBaseT, or HDMI outputs, or up to eight H.264 streams, in one 7U chassis. Adhesive feet and rack ears are included.
