Crestron CLB-120-20A Circuit Breaker for CAEN-MLO, 120V 20A

Crestron supplies Eaton Type CH breakers for its CAEN-MLO automation enclosures, in three single-pole 20 A 120 VAC types rated 10 kAIC. The plain thermal magnetic CLB-120-20A is Eaton's CHF120: an inverse time element trip curve that rides out mild overloads without nuisance tripping while reacting almost instantly to a short. The CLB-120-20A-AFCI is the CHFCAF120PN combination arc fault breaker, and the CLB-120-20A-GFCI is the CHFGF120PN ground fault breaker with 30 mA sensing.

All three use a quick-make, quick-break mechanism with a trip-free handle that moves to OFF when it trips, plus a trip flag that distinguishes a trip from someone switching the circuit off, so a fault is identified and reset in one step. The AFCI and GFCI models use a plug-on neutral design that removes the individual pigtail back to the neutral bar, which matters in a densely populated lighting enclosure. The AFCI model is rated to avoid nuisance tripping on dimmed loads up to 2000 Watts and carries built-in diagnostics with an LED indicator. Note that the 30 mA ground fault protection does not meet UL 1053 for ground fault sensing and relaying equipment.
