Crestron C2N-RTHS Cresnet Remote Temperature and Humidity Sensor
The C2N-RTHS puts a temperature and humidity reading exactly where the reading matters rather than where the thermostat happens to be. It reads -40 to 176 degF and 0 to 100% RH, resolves to 0.1 degree and 1% RH, and holds 1 degF tolerance across its full range.
Mounting is deliberately unobtrusive: a 1 in. round hole in drywall, and the cylindrical body protrudes about an eighth of an inch from the wall. The primed metal cap takes paint or wallpaper so it disappears into the finish. A 10 in. four-wire pigtail connects it to the Cresnet network, from which it also draws its quarter watt of power; an MMK-RS mounting kit, sold separately, covers flush drywall or non-drywall surfaces.
