Clear-Com CC-28 Single-Ear Closed-Back Intercom Headset

The CC-28 is a single-ear, over-the-head intercom headset built around a closed-back 27mm driver and a cardioid dynamic microphone on a flexible gooseneck. The closed earcup and leatherette pad seal out room noise so the operator hears the line rather than the stage, while the single-ear design leaves the other ear open for live cues.

Rotating the boom up mutes the microphone, which gives an operator a fast, tactile way to drop off the line without hunting for a switch. The 5ft cable uses separately shielded microphone wires and terminates in a Neutrik 4-pin female XLR wired to the Clear-Com standard, so it drops straight onto Encore and HelixNet beltpacks. The headset is fully serviceable, with replaceable pads and windscreens.
