Chauvet DJ Obey 40 D-Fi 2.4 DMX Controller
The Obey 40 D-Fi 2.4 is the classic Obey 40 console with a D-Fi transmitter built into it, which removes the single most annoying part of a mobile lighting setup: running DMX cable across a room. It transmits 2.4 GHz on a set of selectable channels up to 656 feet unobstructed, and any D-Fi-equipped or D-Fi USB-fitted fixture receives it. The wired 3-pin XLR output is still there for rigs that want cable.
It addresses 192 channels - up to twelve fixtures at sixteen channels each - and stores 240 programmable scenes across 30 banks. Chase playback includes adjustable fade time, strobe and audio sensitivity for every mode, beat activation, tap-sync and auto run, and any fixture can be grabbed live and overridden mid-chase. Dedicated fog and strobe controls sit on the panel. It is a 19-inch-wide desk measuring 19 x 6.7 x 3.5 inches, weighs 5.2 lb, and runs on a 9 VDC supply.
