Chauvet DJ Intimidator Trio Moving Head

Intimidator Trio does three jobs from one yoke. The motorized zoom runs 7 to 53 degrees, taking it from a tight aerial beam at 16,000 lux at 2 m to a wide wash at 1,350 lux without changing fixtures, and a continuously rotating honeycomb in the optical path adds an effect-light layer on top of that.

Six quad-color RGBW LEDs at 30 W each supply the output, with zone control in the built-in auto programs so the head produces layered looks with no programming. Totem mode restricts the range to keep beams on the dance floor, and coordinated master/slave programs run up to 4 fixtures together. Pan and tilt are 540 and 270 degrees with selectable reduced ranges. Control is 15 or 30 channel DMX over 3-pin XLR, with strobe to 20 Hz.
