Canon DM-E100

The Canon DM-E100 is a compact stereo microphone that clips into the hot shoe and plugs into the 3.5mm microphone jack of compatible EOS and PowerShot cameras. It captures a unidirectional 120 degree stereo field, a straightforward step up from built-in mics for vlogging, interviews, and everyday video.

The electret condenser element draws plug-in power from the camera, so there is no battery to manage, and the low-profile design keeps the rig light and balanced. A windscreen is supplied to cut wind noise outdoors. Canon part number 4474C001.
