CAD Audio CAD Astatic 40-117 Shock Mount Base with Push-to-Talk / Mute Switch

The 40-117 is a portable shock-mounted desk base for gooseneck microphones, using an energy-absorbing shock mount compound to keep desk vibration and handling noise out of the signal. A selectable slide switch sets it for either push-to-talk or push-to-mute behavior, matching how a specific room actually gets used.

It's designed to work with Astatic's own 800 and 900 series gooseneck microphones, or any third-party miniature gooseneck with a standard 3-pin XLR connection, and includes two keyholes for permanent mounting when that's preferred over a portable base. An active LED shows when the mic is live, and a 7-foot balanced XLR cable carries the signal out.
