BSS Soundweb London AEC Input Card
The AEC Input Card populates any of the four card slots on a BLU-800, BLU-805, BLU-806, BLU-320, BLU-325, BLU-326, BLU-160 or BLU-120 and gives that chassis four channels of acoustic echo cancellation, for the case where loudspeaker output finds its way back into a microphone in the same room. Each of the four channels is configured independently in software with its own AEC reference, so one device can cover more than one space.
Like the analog input card it offers phantom power configurable per channel and software-controlled analog gain in 6 dB steps from 0 dB to 48 dB. Automatic gain control keeps microphone levels where they should be, noise cancellation removes steady-state noise such as a projector fan or air conditioning before it can be amplified, and non-linear processing adjusts dynamically against under- and over-cancellation. A direct microphone feed carries full-bandwidth low-latency signal for local sound reinforcement alongside the conference path.
