BSS BLU-325 I/O Expander with BLU link and Ethernet AVB

The BLU-325 is the card-based I/O expander that brings Ethernet AVB audio networking into a Soundweb London system, in place of the BLU-320's CobraNet. Four slots take any mix of analog input, analog output, digital input, digital output, AEC input and telephone hybrid cards in banks of four, for up to 16 channels of configurable I/O, with the same LCD front panel and card-slot architecture as the rest of the BLU-8xx / 3xx family.

AVB runs on primary and secondary ports for fault tolerance, transmitting and receiving up to 64x64 channels simultaneously, with control kept on a separate Ethernet port. The 256-channel BLU link bus carries audio to the rest of the Soundweb London system over standard Cat 5e for up to 100 m between devices. Twelve control inputs and six logic outputs integrate it with GPIO-driven control systems, and the unit is configured from HiQnet Audio Architect's drag-and-drop logic palette. It does not support CobraNet or Dante.
