British Drum Co Merlin Maple and Birch Snare Drum

Merlin is the drum that made the company's reputation: a 20 ply shell of alternating vertical and horizontal veneers, maple for focus and warmth, birch for brightness and projection. It is finished in black tulip veneer with an inlaid double maple pinstripe, and it has the awards and the five-star reviews to go with it.

Every British Drum Co snare drum carries the same Palladium hardware: chrome-plated Art-Deco lugs with ThreadGrip tuning, the Palladium strainer, brass snare wires, and a laser-cut B badge that shows the shell finish through the negative space. Sizes offered here are 14 in x 5.5 in, 14 in x 6.5 in.
