BirdDog Ceiling Mount for P4K (BD-P4K-CM)

The P4K is a heavier head than the rest of the BirdDog PTZ line, so it gets its own ceiling mount rather than sharing the P-Series bracket. A moulded circular cradle takes the camera on four raised bosses with a bayonet register in the middle, so the body locates positively before any screw is turned instead of being juggled one-handed on a ladder. That cradle sits on a flat structure plate with a boxed edge and keyhole slots for the ceiling fixings.

The centre of the cradle is open, which lets the 12G-SDI, Ethernet and power runs come straight up out of the camera and disappear into the ceiling void with nothing visible from the floor. The black finish reads as hardware rather than decoration in a studio, theatre, or lecture room. BirdDog part number BD-P4K-CM.
