Hanging a PTZ upside down is the normal answer in a classroom, a courtroom, or a low studio, and this is the bracket BirdDog builds for its compact heads. The plate carries the camera on the factory mounting pattern and gives you a flat face to bolt into a joist, a grid support, or a threaded rod drop, so the head sits square instead of hanging off an adapter stack.
