BirdDog X1 Ultra PTZ Camera
The BirdDog X1 Ultra is the 4K member of the X1 family, an NDI|HX3 PTZ camera that pushes the same compact body up to UHD 2160p. A Sony 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor reads out 8.29 megapixels behind a 12x optical zoom (4.1 to 49.2mm), giving a wide 70.28-degree horizontal view that suits tight rooms and close stages. AI auto-framing keeps a presenter centered on its own, and a daylight-visible halo tally ring shows the room when the camera is live.
Ultra shoots 2160p at up to 30fps and steps down to 1080p and 720p as needed. Connectivity matches the rest of the family: HDMI, a USB/UVC feed with independent resolution for Zoom and Teams, and a 100M Ethernet port with PoE (802.3af) carrying NDI|HX2/HX3, SRT, RTSP, and RTMP. Wi-Fi 5 adds a wireless path, an E-Ink display labels the unit, and the head pans 175 degrees each way and tilts -90 to +90 degrees. It ships in black and runs on PoE or 12V DC.
