Black Box VX-VGA520-K Mini CATx VGA Extender Kit with Video Equalization
A compact transmitter and receiver that send VGA video up to 500 feet (150 m) over ordinary CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 instead of expensive, awkward-to-terminate VGA cable. The transmitter converts the PC output for point-to-point transmission over a non-networked CATx link; the receiver turns it back into VGA for a monitor, projector or other display.
Only one power supply is needed for the pair and it can go at either end of the link, which matters when there is no socket where the screen is. A video equalisation adjustment lets you tune the image at full distance, and resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 - 1080p included - hold with little or no visible degradation. The kit contains the VX-VGA520-TA transmitter, the VX-VGA520-RA receiver and the supply.
