The dual-rail design is what separates the ServView V from an ordinary console drawer: the keyboard tray and the 17-inch TFT LCD move independently, so you can push the keyboard back into the rack and leave the display open to watch the servers, or check status with the cabinet door closed. The eight-port KVM switching module connects to VGA servers with either PS/2 or USB keyboards and mice, in an industry-standard 19-inch 1U drawer.

Switching controls on the monitor bezel let you change channels without pulling the keyboard drawer open, and an on-screen display and LED indicator handle image adjustment. A front-panel USB 2.0 port stays reachable with the tray closed, and a hideaway USB port takes an RF or Bluetooth adapter for your own wireless keyboard and mouse. An LED light bar on top of the drawer makes it easy to find in a dark rack, and the surface is scratch-resistant with a slip-free handle.
