Black Box KVT417A-16CATX ServTray 17-inch LCD Console with 16-Port CATx KVM Switch

Keyboard, touchpad and a 17-inch LCD in a 1U pull-out drawer, with a sixteen-port CATx KVM switch built into the same rack unit. The display supports resolutions to 1280 x 1024. Servers connect over thin, flexible network-style CATx patch cables through USB, PS/2 or Sun Server Access Modules, so mixed estates work on one tray.

The CATx module also carries a KVM extension port, which lets a second console reach the switch from 984.5 feet (300 m) away over standard CATx and a ServSwitch CX Remote Unit. Control is from the on-screen display, hotkeys or the mouse, with password security and user profiles, and the switch responds to RS232 switching commands. Expand the system further with a CX Uno switch (KV0161A or KV0081A). Server Access Modules and user stations are not included.
