BassBoss BB15-MK3 Single 15 inch Powered Subwoofer

The BB15-MK3 is the compact end of the BassBoss subwoofer line: a single 15-inch neodymium driver on a 4.5-inch CCAW voice coil in a cabinet that weighs 72 pounds and measures roughly 21 by 17 by 24 inches. It still gets the full 2,500-watt Class D amplifier, so it produces 127 dB sustained and 130 dB peak from 40 Hz up, which is a great deal more than the size suggests.

It is the right choice when the room, the stage, or the vehicle will not take an 18-inch box: small bars, restaurants, corporate events, and DJ rigs that have to fit in a car. The 96 kHz DSP provides eight pushbutton presets with a hundred more stored over the network through ControlBASS, and multi-stage limiting handles thermal, short-circuit, and DC offset protection. The birch enclosure is coated in impact-resistant polyurea with weather-sealed connectors and an auto-sensing 100 to 240 VAC supply.
